Nail Faves: Fall Edition

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, one of my biggest pet peeves is having chipped nails. It drives me crazy- it looks messy and makes me feel like I’m not put together. (You can find more of my fave polishes in this post).

Fall Nail
Because of this, I’m constantly painting and touching up my manicure. I love to switch up the colors depending on my mood or the season. I’m starting to trade in of my pinky-nudes and summer whites in favor of more moody burgundy and other dark fall colors.

OPIGray
The color I have on currently is unfortunately part of a discontinued collaboration between Sephora and OPI. I’ve had it for a few years and I didn’t realize it was no longer available until this post. This is a similar OPI color. I love a good grey color for the beginning of fall- it’s a great transitional shade from bright neutrals to darker ones and is a very stylish color.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Blacky O
I’ve been loving Sally Hansen polish recently- it’s great quality polish with a variety of shade choices. Black is my go-to for the end of October, once the cooler weather starts to set in and Halloween is closer. This shade is a perfect shiny black! (Also loving this topcoat from SH- it dries fairly quickly and leaves a great shine. For a chip-free manicure, I re-apply just this topcoat every other day!).

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Red My Lips
Honestly, for me, red is a year-round color. It looks great with my skin and it’s one of my favorite colors. This particular red is a perfect bright cherry color. It’s usually my go-to if I’m between colors and can’t decide what to go with.

Wet ‘n’ Wild 1 Step Wonder Gel in Left Marooned
Such a fall color, right? I’ve been patiently waiting all summer for fall to hit so I can bring this color back. It’s such a warm, glam shade and I always get compliments when I wear it out and about. This + a chunky sweater in gloomy weather is perfect!

What is your go-to fall polish shade?
