Crap-Free Creamer

Cheers to the 3-day weekend!

Anyone who knows me would tell you in a heartbeat that I am an avid coffee drinker (borderline addiction, honestly). Iced coffee is my preferred fuel source, but hot works too. It’s the one thing I absolutely can’t give up!

That being said, I’m all about keeping my coffee as healthy as possible. Which is why I’m sharing this amazing product a friend shared with me.

This coffee creamer is absolutely amazing. It’s 15 calories a serving (yes please) and devoid of so much of the crap “ingredients” that are present in other coffee creamers. It’s dairy/soy/gluten/GMO/cholesterol free- can you believe that?!

It’s also carrageenan free, which I’ve recently learned a lot more about. Carrageenan is found in so many organic “healthier” food products but in reality it’s actually bad for us. They are “a family of linear sulfated polysaccharides that are extracted from red edible seaweeds.” Coming from seaweed, it sounds like it would be okay, right? NOPE. It’s actually very indigestible for our bodies and has no real nutritional value. So nasty. So the fact that this creamer, in addition to all its other benefits, is free of that is awesome.

My biggest concern with this when I first found out about this creamer was the taste being compromised. I’ve never been one to drink black coffee- I definitely need to sweeten things up so having a bitter, unflavored creamer would not work for me. But I promise you, the taste is SO so freaking good. I love the hazelnut flavor (which also has added coconut milk!).

Let me know what you think if you try it!!
