This is my absolute fave morning breakfast smoothie! I usually pre-package everything into baggies the night before so that I can just throw it all in while I’m getting ready in the AM.Ingredient round up! I really love this brand of flax seed because it has a lot of flavor and it’s crazy filling so this smoothie will literally keep me totally full and full of energy for the morning and most of the afternoon.
Recipe:
1/2 to 1 cup of fruit- I sometimes use frozen fruit if I’m in a rush.
1 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup of spinach/kale (so good for you! great source of vitamins)
1/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt
1/2 tbsp honey
1 serving of flax seed/ hemp powder/chia seed (tbh I usually go HAM on the flax seed)
That’s it! I love love this recipe – it’s simple, yummy and good for you. There are so many ways to vary the flavor of the smoothie too, just by switching up the fruits, milk, etc. so you don’t get bored of the taste.
I got this travel jar from TJ Maxx forever ago and I use these glass straws for everything! like literally everything- smoothies, iced coffee, ice water, etc. I love straws, and these glass ones are easy to clean, sturdy, cute and free of chemicals!
